I also get to buy my plane ticket to go visit my family in MN today. I am so excited. My brother and Lyden have not met Quinn yet so I am eager for them to do so. Though David claims that he "doesn't ever get excited" I think secretly he might be slightly interested to see his new nephew and big sister. Any tips for taking a baby on the plane? I keep thinking about all the stuff I am going to need to pack: Boppy, playmat, toys, diapers and wipes, bath seat and clothes to name a few. And I have to fit it all into one suitcase and a carry-on because now you have to pay to check any bags. So silly! I also have to figure out what to do with the carseat and stroller....any advice on that front? It will be a good trip. Hopefully Peter doesn't get too lonely. I'll be back just in time for finals and then the first year of law school will be over. I can't believe how fast this year has gone. This time last year I was planning to keep attending UVSC and to finish up the nursing program there. Now I am in CT with a baby and a husband in law school. Life definitely changes fast but I love every minute of it.
Quinn had a doctors apointment two weeks ago. He weighed in at 12lbs 12 oz and is 23inches long. He had to get his two month shots. The look on his face was almost unbearable. He had a rough few days after that but is now doing a lot better. The past couple of weeks his teething has really kicked up a notch and he has had quite a few rough days. Oddly enough the teeth we could see poking through seemed to have given up and retreated a little. No wonder Quinn has been in pain. I never realized how much babies go through: being born, for some circumcision, being so helpless, teething, having parents who have no idea what they are doing...what troopers!
